LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE. MAKE DISCIPLES.
We exist exclusively to display the love of Christ, while living out the Great Commission.
Experience Kingdom Life Through Cell Groups
As a body is made up of many parts the most basic unit of the body is a cell. Cells are the most basic and fundamental unit of community and the building block of life. It is in the context of a cell group (we call them GROWTH GROUPS…a small group of people consisting of 20 or less people), that we experience love, friendship, encouragement, accountability, and spiritual growth. It’s in this “Cell” setting that we experience shared life together.
Celebrate Through Corporate Worship
As in a body, cells gather together to form a larger part. Cells live in community with other cells where they connect, communicate, assist others, and then together accomplish a larger work than any one cell could accomplish on its own.
At Osborne FM our cell (Growth) groups gather together corporately for Celebration/Worship Services to celebrate what God is doing among us and to contribute to the larger work being done by the body as a whole.
Entangle the Community
As individuals and as a body, God has uniquely gifted us to make a difference in the world around us. We are called to love and serve God and people. We do this by demonstrating kindness, mercy, and grace, serving others, meeting their needs, and reaching out into the world around us.
Our goal is for this church to be a church of SERVANTS on every level...as a corporate body, as a Cell (Growth) Group, and as individuals… We want to be a blessing to our community and the people in it.
Reaching beyond our walls to empower all by discovering the kingdom life with Jesus, as it pertains to spiritual needs, relationships, health, finances, education and leadership.
We believe that we exist for more than just holding religious services, more than just pleasing the people in the pews (chairs). Our Church is a MISSIONAL-outward focused church.
We're about going somewhere, not settling for where we are at in life or settling for what we’ve already accomplished (as a church or as individuals).
The Church of Jesus Christ is PEOPLE not a building or a program, and as the people of God we are meant to impact the world for the Kingdom of God.
Who Are we trying to reach?
1 Corinthians 9:19-23 “19 …I have become a servant of everyone so that I can bring them to Christ. 20 When I am with the Jews, I become one of them so that I can bring them to Christ. When I am with those who follow the Jewish laws, I do the same, even though I am not subject to the law, so that I can bring them to Christ. 21 When I am with the Gentiles who do not have the Jewish law, I fit in with them as much as I can. In this way, I gain their confidence and bring them to Christ. But I do not discard the law of God; I obey the law of Christ.
22 When I am with those who are oppressed, I share their oppression so that I might bring them to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone so that I might bring them to Christ. 23 I do all this to spread the Good News, and in doing so I enjoy its blessings.” (NLT)
